Chosing a tour date
PDF Print E-mail

We get many emails from potential customers confused about the tour dates so here is a breakdown of how to get onto a motorbike tour on a date most suitable for you.

Dates not set in stone!

If you take a look at our scheduled bike tour dates you will notice that the tours are set to certain dates up to many years ahead but,  if any of our dates do not fit your schedule all you need to do is contact us telling us the dates you wish to ride and what tour you want to take.  Providing the date you are after is available we will then alter our tour calendar on our website to suit your date.  Your tour will then be confirmed and it is still open for other riders to join!

Whats a private tour?

A private motorbike tour is a tour specially arranged for you. You can choose any tour we operate and extend or (sometimes) shorten the duration, upgrade the accommodation, upgrade the bikes (road tours only) and you can choose to ride at any time that suits you providing that date is available.  A private tour also means that it is not open to other people to join (unless you want to open it up).  A private tour will cost a little more than a scheduled tour for obvious reason however, this is down to how many people are in your group...  If there are 3 or more riders the cost will be exactly the same pro rata as our scheduled tour rates.

Joining another group

Providing your riding ability is roughly the same as the group are you are planning on joining all you need do is pay your deposit and you are booked!

What They Said

Had an absolute blast on the 6 day, duel terrain, tour with Motorbike Thailand. Had our limits thoroughly explored and often breached! (All in a controlled and comfortable manner, I hasten to add!) The local knowledge of Andy and our legendary guide, Eak, was invaluable. We went to places not many tourists had ever gone before! (Shan State Army Forever!) We were incredibly proud, if slightly muddy, pioneers! Starting at a reasonable hour every morning, we managed to finish in plenty of time to make it to the pub's/bar's/club's/people's front room etc, for our evening rehydration! Never had a bad day's riding, Thailand was stunning and did not disappoint on any level! The little Kwak's served us well, despite trying every possible terrain!! Thank you Motorbike Thailand, will probably see you again sometime! ( Colin handy,  UK)
