This tour was actually quite special as all of them had originally joined to ride the Golden Triangle however, with a little persuasion from us we asked if they would like to take on a longer tour as guinea pigs for us and they all agreed. The tour took us on almost a complete circumference of northern Thailand taking in the Golden Triangle as well as the North West as far down to Umphang. If they had stayed with the Golden Triangle motorbike tour the distance would have been around 800 kilometers however with the change of route we covered a total of 2100 kilometers. |
This group was in February 2008 and comprised of Rob & Dan from Canada and we managed to combine Carry & Cathy from the USA into the same group making 4 riders in total.
