What to bring

Essential items to bring over with you.

Thai law states you need an international drivers permit to ride here and this is easily arranged. Contact your local Automobile Association or driver licencing center in your country for more information. Failure to have this may render your travel insurance invalid.

Travel insurance for Thailand even including motorcycle cover is not expensive and offers many benefits if you need to claim.  Riding anywhere in the world without adequate travel insurance is lunacy so it's obligatory on all our tours!

People from 43 countries around the world are able to get a fee Visa on arrival at the Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok) including EU countries, Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand.  The visa is for 30 days.

If you are planning on staying in Thailand longer we suggest applying at your local Thai embassy for a longer visa.  When you apply to join one of our bike tours we will advise you on visa regulations.

In most cases people bring way too much luggage so here's a few tips to save you space and weight.

NOT REQUIRED

You get a fresh towel every evening so save space and don't pack one.  Soap & Shampoo is also provided and anything else you need can be purchased anywhere on tour.

Clothing

It is possible to get overnight laundry done (not every evening) so don't overpack. Bring swim shorts for the pool and it's best to bring jeans/long trousers for the evenings but pack a pair of shorts also.  For tours during May through to October pack a light 2 piece waterproof suit suitable to go over your riding gear. Pack your Speedos for the pool.

Any other questions on this subject feel free to ask us

In most cases people prefer to bring their own gear but if you need gear to use we can give you the basic safety gear needed to ride but subject to availability due to various sizes and availability.

Please mention this to us when you make a booking.

Safety is top for us so be sure to wear gear that will protect you.  Dirt bike tours: Helmet, body protection (chest/Back), arm and knee protection, gloves and most importantly boots.

For road tours: Riding jacket, helmet, gloves, knee and arm protection.

We do have gear available to use but YOU MUST tell us about this before you make a booking.
