This tour is a  road based tour utilising 2009 model Kawasaki suitable for all experienced riders.  A 6 day 5 night holiday including 4 full days biking, plus leisure time in Chiang Mai city,

Day 1:  Meet & Greet...

Arrive Chiang Mai airport where our staff will collect you and transfer you to your mid range hotel close to the city center.  This evening you have the option to join our staff for a city tour around Chiang Mai and to see the relaxed nightlife this ancient city has to offer.

Day 2:  Lets ride...

Starting around 8:30 we leave the city riding North towards the infamous Golden Triangle tracking close to the Burmese Border visiting a royal agriculture center 1700 meters above sea level for your first insight into the many hill tribe people living in this region.  We stay this evening in a small hotel in a town rarely visited by western tourists and a chance to experience the unique Thai social style with a barbecue meal fit for a king.  For those with the energy you also have the chance to mingle with the Thai locals in a modern live music and cabaret show.

Day 3:  The Tip of Thailand

Heading Northwards we arrive at the most northerly point in Thailand to the Border town of Mae Sai along the way we will take the side routes along the old teak logging trails of old passing through one of the towns previously inhabited by the late 'Khun Sa' one of the worlds most wanted drug barons.  This evening your accommodation is a quaint nestled beside a small river acting as the border defence of Burma.  This location is always well regarded by our tour members as you can see at close hand from your bedroom window the stark differences between Third world Burma and developing Thailand.

Day 4:  The Mighty Mekong river, Opium and The Laotian border

A jam packed day today and one of our favourite rides of this tour.  Riding parallel to the Mighty Mekong river we make our way into Chiang Saen for a visit to the Golden Triangle Opium Museum where you can see relics from  this regions past days as one of the leading suppliers of Opium.  Keeping with the Mekong river we head to Phu Chi Fah and the location for our evening 1700 meters above sea level.  For tours during November, December and January you will now understand why we advised to bring warm clothing!  We will stay literally perched on top of the mountain directly on the border of Laos with some of the best views in Thailand.  Due to it's remote location our evening will be self entertaining enjoying the peace and tranquility of this wonderful location.

Day 5:  Heading South

By today you should be familiar with the style of riding Northern Thailand has to offer and will relish today's ride as we track back to Chiang Mai over a myriad of mountain peaks on perfect sweeping bends.  With a stop off here and there visiting majestic waterfalls and hot springs today we arrive back into Chiang mai city around 4 pm for a complimentary Thai massage to ease away any riding aches and pains and to relax the body and mind for a farewell drink and jolly good night on the town to end a short but jam packed motorcycle tour of the Golden Triangle.

Day 6:  Depart

Our staff will transfer you to CNX international airport for your onward journey and hope to see you again in Thailand soon.
