So, you have read through our website and noticed the majority of our tours are off road based and maybe feel you do not have the experience to do this? Think again! The majority of our past customers had minimal or no off road riding experience prior to riding with us but if you feel you do not have the experience or ability to join a group tour then look no further than our off road training tour.... This tour is designed for novice riders! If you have just passed your motorbike test and want to gain valuable riding experience this tour will suit you perfectly teaching you the essential and advanced riding techniques that will allow you to broaden your motorcycle horizons. You will experience everything that our other tours offer including riding deep within the jungles and mountains of Northern Thailand, you will be fording rivers, you will be riding steep ascents and descents and you will experience everything that rural Thailand has to offer including the colorful Hill tribe people and villages and the most scenic regions in Thailand with the added benefit of our full support team and one on one tuition. If ever there was a way to improve your riding skill this is it! This tour is an 9 day tour which includes 1 day basic rider training in Chiang Mai city followed by 6 days tuition while touring to some of the best regions in Northern Thailand with 2 days either side of the tour reserved for your arrival and departure days. Itinerary Note: Days 3 to 8 are field training meaning we will be in a different location each night. It is not possible for us to state where we will be each evening as it depends entirely on your riding ability and speed. Day 1: Arrive Chiang Mai. Day 2: Basic rider training at a static location on the outskirts of Chiang Mai city. Day 3 - Day 8: In field training and touring riding to a different location on and off road. Each day will get progressively more difficult depending on how your skills advance each day. Day 8 we return on or off road back to Chiang Mai city. Day 9: Transfer to airport. When this tour operates This tour has open tour dates meaning with the exception of March/April you can take this tour at anytime that suits your schedule. The price shown below is the tour price per person with a minimum of 2 riders (maximum group size is 6). If you were interested in one on one tuition taking this tour alone without any other riders in the group please add 60% to the tour price. We went on an off road tour with Motorbike Thailand from
the 19th to the 26th of July. As Andy said; "each day
would be more challenging than the last" and he was certainly true to
his word. Every single day was more challenging
culminating in us having lunch with representatives of the Sham army
1500m up a mountain. I have to say the trip was exceptional and i will definitely be back
next year. The bikes and accommodation were both great along with the camaraderie between all the guys. One of the expectational aspects of the
week was that Andy really made an effort to teach, particularly Michel
and I how to ride a bike properly both on and off the road. I will
always take inspiration from his "get you r f**ing feet on the pegs when I am next sliding down a hill of mud on a bike. Cheers guys for a great week! Mark (Hong Kong near the outskirts of Scotland)
