Both of them coped extremely well and the trails we selected were gauged by their riding abilities. The tour in total was around 500 kilometers over a 4 day ride and the highlight of the tour was an evening 1700 meters above sea level under the stars. If you hold a full motorcycle licence though have minimum riding experience we highly recommend taking a private tour meaning you will not be under pressure from any other riders in the group. Our tour leader will select routes on and off road to suit your ability and offer training and tips along the route. Barry and Marie arranged a private motorbike tour with the purpose to gain experience in off road riding. Both of them have a little experience on road but both have never actually made it onto the dirt before coming to Thailand.
I managed to find myself neck high in the river without my motorbike
between my legs. I bore the brunt of a few quips from the boys because
of that but had a fantastic time. The routes we took were way off the
beaten track and the other guys in the group were a joy to ride with.
