Thailand Northern Discovery motorcycle Holiday
If a true discovery of Northern Thailand is what you're after then our Northern Discovery tour should hit the spot. A combination of 2 tours in 1 riding the circumference of the Northern regions of Thailand. Designed to include all the famous regions such as the infamous Golden triangle riding the famous 'Phukka loop', awesome Phu Chi Fah Forest and if that wasn't enough we ride over to the north West for one of the worlds top listed motorcycle roads the corkscrew roller coaster road of 1000 hairpins the "Mae Hong Son Loop" and onto the rooftop of Thailand to the kingdoms 'mother' of Thailand's mountain ranges.

We really excelled ourselves on this one and proud of it! ..
The
survey tour of this route was November 2007 and if you're
reading this between November and December 2007 we will
actually still be surveying it. Although the basics of
the tour has been taken from previous routes this time we
have included many more not so traveled routes and hopefully
after the survey many new off road trails we have yet to
map.
In due course this page will be updated adding more detail
and photos taken from the survey tour.
The best way to describe this tour is to read our
north west loop and
Golden Triangle combine the
together, add a city break part way through the each tour
and you have the makings of a simply awesome biking Holiday.
In the region of 3000 kilometers this is our biggest
Thailand set tour to date and recommended to fit and active
motorcyclist with good riding experience and with a sense of
adventure.
Adventure Travelers
Let us invoke the discoverer in you...
Due
tour unique style of changing our tours every season the
February 2009 tour will be the last time we ride this route.
The following season we will introduce new regions from more
survey tours but what this means to you is many of the
places we travel this season will be new to
both our team and the people living along the routes.
Or touring philosophy is to access places tourists
rarely visit without altering or changing the local
environment and we never "over ride a route".A few long days in the saddle but, we have carefully balanced the tour of tough and relaxing days of urban and rural life with a few hidden surprises along the way.
"That wasn't in the brochure"
Aimed directly at...
Who will ride this tourYou would probably think a longer more demanding motorcycle tour would attract the younger age group but this is generally not the case. We expect this tour to attract the mid to late age groups that are looking for an adventure motorcycle tour built around the culture and history of the region.
Our tours are more about the places we visit rather than the form of transport we use. We use bikes because of the freedom the Motorbike offers and using Enduro style means we are easily able to access the regions tourist rarely visit with ease. There will be days spent riding off road however, you will not need to have previous experience in off road motorcycling. In previous years we operated Enduro for beginner tours where our team would slowly introduce you to the joys of off roading giving tips on techniques along the way. These tours were so successful we decided to make this style the backbone of our tours. You do however need to be an experienced motorcyclist on road riding.
