Road Biking Sections On Tour...

After reading our section on Off Road Riding with us you should now have a clearer picture as the style of tours we ride.  Fundamentally road tours with a few sections of easy off road riding included so what is the road riding sections like and will it be enjoyable on an Enduro bike?  Hopefully we have answered these questions for you below....

Road touring on and Enduro bike...

The Enduro bike is the most popular general purpose motorcycle in Northern Thailand as it will glide over any pot holes you encounter on the more sever mountain roads and on the perfect laid roads it will react well and comfortably and being light weight very easy to handle on the switchbacks and hairpins.  The tires we use are Enduro tires (not MX knobblies) designed to give good grip on road and off road.

So how good are the roads?

Simply awesome but please understand over a long distance touring to the regions we tour they aren't going to be A1 perfect 100% of the time hence the reason we use the Enduro bikes but in general you will be in awe at the standard of roads in Thailand.  Many of the regions such as Doi Phukka (golden triangle tour) Mae Hong Son Loop (north west loop tour) offer roads classed by many as sheer motorcycle heaven.  Click the photos to enlarge)
